Robin Walls, Instructor

Robin Walls is President of Amethyst Management Group, a woman-owned firm specializing in HUD HQS inspections and rent approvals for the HCV Program, as well as technical assistance to PHAs on HUD audit responses, SEMAP compliance, and operational issues.  Robin formerly served as the Director of the Inspections Department at CHAC, Inc., a subsidiary of Quadel Consulting, where she directed an 80-person department responsible for conducting more than 70,000 inspections of single and multi -unit residences annually.  During her tenure, the Inspections Department consistently achieved over 90% of SEMAP and contractual performance goals including, compliance with the annual inspections performance indicator, increasing the completion rate for inspections, and meeting the Rent Reasonableness indicators.  Robin has also provided technical assistance and training to PHAs, and spoken at national conferences throughout the country on various inspections-related issues.
