IRS Audit Guide Course
Course Type:
Description:
Quadel’s half-day training workshop addresses issues related to the IRS Guide to Completing Form 8823 and covers selected topics from Quadel’s Tax Credit Compliance Systems (TaCCs) course.
At the January 2007 HFA Institute sponsored by the National Council of State Housing Agencies, the IRS issued the Guide for Completing Form 8823: Low-Income Housing Credit Agencies Report of Noncompliance or Building Disposition. The guide provides standardized operational definitions for the noncompliance categories listed on Form 8823. It is the IRS’ intent that this guide will encourage consistent interpretation and application of the LIHTC requirements. The training includes a chapter-by-chapter walkthrough of the guide.
Participants receive a copy of Quadel’s course book on IRS Guide to Completing Form 8823. All of Quadel’s course books are designed to serve as “plain English” reference manuals to assist program staff in their daily functions more efficiently after attending the course.
Who Should Attend:
Developers, syndicators, asset managers, property managers, state agencies, and any professional involved with the LIHTC program
Training Topics:
Quadel structures the agenda for its IRS Audit Guide courses covering one or more topics in depth, while still detailing all aspects of the Guide for Completing Form 8823 and tax credit compliance. Quadel will collaborate with your agency to discuss the training needs of your staff and develop an agenda that is customized to those needs.
