Quadel offers a one-day Management of Maintenance for Public Housing course. The course covers effective work order systems, staffing, scheduling and prioritizing, preventive maintenance, quality control, inventory control, and safety checks, developing maintenance policies, assessing skills and providing training, maintenance-related PHAS considerations, budget preparation, and resident involvement.
The course combines lecture, class discussion, and in-class exercises to review maintenance systems and approaches to monitoring maintenance work. Detailed attention is paid to goal-oriented management in the maintenance environment. Resources and guidelines for solving daily problems are also included in course materials.
Participants receive our nationally recognized Management of Maintenance for Public Housing course book which is updated annually to reflect changes in HUD regulations and requirements. The course book contains useful references such as a preventive maintenance tasks list, preventive maintenance work order, property inspection report, sample work orders, and PHAS reports.
