Quadel’s Low-Income Tax Credit Compliance Systems (TaCCs) course is a one and one-half to three day workshop that provides management with comprehensive guidance on LIHTC compliance requirements.  The course also includes the very latest IRS and HUD updates.  Through extensive exercises and case studies, the TaCCs training leads participants through all of the critical compliance steps using a system of forms and monitoring tools covering all critical compliance areas including:

  • 1st Year Leasing Objectives, including Minimum Set-Aside
  • Applicant Eligibility
  • Annual Income Calculations & Verifications
  • Full-time Student Rule
  • Annual Re-certification & Ongoing Compliance
  • Available Unit Rule
  • Monitoring Requirements

Participants receive a copy of Quadel’s nationally recognized TaCCs course book. All of Quadel’s course books are designed to provide “plain English” reference manuals to assist program staff perform their daily functions more efficiently after attending the TaCCs training course.

This course is frequently paired with Quadel’s advanced training modules, Managing Compliance in Section 8, Section 236, and Section 202 & 811 Properties with Tax Credits, Managing Compliance in LIHTC Properties with HOME and CDBG Funding, and Managing Compliance in Properties with Public Housing Funding. These modules are offered in addition to the TaCCs certification examination.

Certification:

Quadel administers a certification examination on the afternoon of the second day of the TaCCs training. The three-hour examination is open book and includes multiple choice and true/false questions, mini-exercises, and a case study.  Participants who successfully pass the examination receive the TaCCs certification designation and a formal certificate suitable for framing attesting to their proficiency.  The TaCCs designation is recognized by professionals in the tax credit industry nationwide and provides employers the security of knowing that a TaCCs certified employee has mastered the complex issues faced by site managers administering the tax credit program.
