Managing Compliance in Section 8, Section 236, and Section 202 & 811 Properties with Tax Credits Module

Course Type:

Description:

Quadel offers three different half-day advanced training modules on Mixed-finance compliance requirements.  These modules are normally offered in conjunction with the TaCCs  workshop or as special sessions.

Owners of Section 8, Section 236, and Section 202 & 811 multifamily properties have looked to the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program as a means to attract new equity and financing to communities that participate in these programs and are in need of substantial rehabilitation. Owners of properties that receive tax credits in addition to HUD subsidies must comply with both sets of requirements. The Managing Compliance in Section 8, Section 236, and Section 202 & 811 Properties with Tax Credits module addresses the occupancy and other compliance requirements for Section 236-tax credit property owners who manage Section 8, Rent Supplement, or RAP project-based rental assistance contracts.
