Quadel's Rental Assistance Demonstration-Project-Based Rental Assistance (RAD-PBRA) Occupancy training provides essential information on HUD's RAD-PBRA program as the requirements relate to management of HUD-subsidized multifamily housing. It is a comprehensive course for new, front-line housing management staff and a useful refresher for experienced or supervisory staff. With increased monitoring and regulatory compliance by HUD, Quadel's RAD-PBRA Occupancy training will provide you and your staff with knowledge and tools necessary to implement and manage your program within HUD requirements, while better serving your residents at the same time.
Quadel's RAD-PBRA Occupancy training utilizes classroom style lecture, opportunity for group discussion and case study exercises. Day One begins with an introduction to RAD-PBRA and an overview of selected history of HUD-subsidized multifamily housing programs and the types of financing that make them possible; civil rights and non-discrimination; eligibility for occupancy and assistance; waiting list and tenant selection issues; income determination and rent calculation. Day Two continues with income determination and rent calculation; leasing activities, re-certifications; unit transfers and gross rent changesand finishes with termination; HUD Multifamily Online systems (EIV, TRACS, iMAX) and TRACS Voucher submission requirements; and allows for review, question and answer session. Quadel's trainer will highlight changes in policy and procedures as necessary, to reflect recent HUD notices that affect the HUD Handbook 4350.3 REV-1, Change 4.
Participants receive Quadel’s Rental Assistance Demonstration-Project-Based Rental Assistance Program course book. The course book is a comprehensive and useful reference manual for RAD rules and regulations, and HUD Multifamily program rules andrequirements long after the training workshop has ended. The course book covers the material discussed in the RAD-PBRA Occupancy course.
