Cheiktha Dowers has over 25 years of experience in the affordable housing industry, with significant experience in programs, operations, financial management, compliance, and training. In her current role as Managing Director of a large Housing Choice Voucher Program, she oversees the distribution of more than $65 million in rental subsidies to approximately 9000 families. Ms. Dowers’s executive oversight includes finance, inspections, operations, quality assurance/performance management, owner outreach and customer service. She serves as a technical expert and often provides training and technical assistance to PHAs. Ms. Dowers holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University and a Master of Science Degree in Accounting/Taxation from Nova Southeastern University.
