Public Housing Occupancy

Course Details

Quadel’s PHO training workshop covers basic public housing occupancy rules and highlights recent changes to HUD rules and regulations affecting the public housing program. Our course consists of detailed guidance on the day-to-day tasks that public housing employees will encounter and includes an overview of the Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS) with particular attention given to the management indicators. Each participant will receive a course book to serve as a detailed desk reference after the workshop ends. The course includes a certification examination at the end of the workshop.

Asset Management

Course Details

Quadel’s Asset Management course provides a hands-on exploration of the concepts and skills necessary for successful implementation of HUD requirements. Participants gain an overview of the Final Rule on the Public Housing Operating Fund Program and its organizational and staffing implications and learn how to bring these concepts down to the site level. The course includes a certification examination at the end of the workshop. Each participant will receive a course book to serve detailed desk reference after the workshop ends.

Public Housing Assessment System (PHAS)

Course Details

Quadel’s PHAS workshop gives participants a broad understanding of PHAS requirements and their implications for housing operations. The training highlights the monitoring and tracking systems needed to measure performance under each indicator and will cover all four components of PHAS: physical condition, financial condition, management operations, and resident service and satisfaction. Each participant will receive a course book to serve as a detailed desk reference after the workshop ends.

Housing specialists, managers and supervisory staff responsible for the monitoring and submission of PHAS scoring and documentation

Public Housing Rent Calculation

Course Details

Quadel’s two-day course on Public Housing (PH) Rent Calculation covers annual income inclusions and exclusions, allowances and deductions, adjusted income, discussion of best-practice interviewing techniques, sample interview questions, verification requirements, rent calculation, choice of rent, and utility allowances. Participants receive Quadel’s HCV & PH Calculation course book.

Quadel offers an optional examination that evaluates participant proficiency in accurate determination of income and rent calculations. Participants who pass receive a formal certificate suitable for framing attesting to their proficiency in HCV income, allowances, and rent calculation rules.

Public Housing Maintenance

Course Details

Quadel’s PH Maintenance workshop provides the knowledge and skills necessary to inspect PHA units properly and enhances the participant’s ability to meet the challenges related to PH Maintenance. Course Details
